Baltimore magazine recently released its 2019 Top Doctors list and 26 of the physicians are from the DOM. This annual listing is one resource that people across Maryland use to determine where to seek care. More than 20,000 physicians in 100 specialties were nominated for this recognition through an online survey. Only about 700 physicians received enough votes from their peers to make the list.
Huge thanks to Bimal Ashar, associate professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, for lending his professional expertise and guidance to Baltimore magazine in order to create this comprehensive list.
We commend these and all of our doctors as well as our nurses and staff on your tremendous efforts that put our department at the forefront of biomedical discovery, teaching the next generation of doctors and improving the health of Baltimore and the world.
