Paul O’Rourke, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was the recipient of the Award for Excellence in Clinical Education by the Society of General Internal Medicine at the Mid-Atlantic Region Meeting in Pittsburgh on November 15. He was also elected president of the SGIM Mid-Atlantic Region at the conclusion of the meeting. He will serve as president-elect in 2020 and begin his term as president in 2021.
