Sherita Golden, professor in the Division of Endocrinology, was presented with the Levi Watkins Jr. Ideals Award at the 38th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration. The award recognizes physicians at Johns Hopkins who have made outstanding contributions to the institution. Also during the event, she moderated the keynote discussion of Valeria Montgomery Rice, president and dean of Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta.
