Kristin Bigos, assistant professor in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology, and Rakhi Naik, assistant professor in the Division of Hematology, were selected to receive Johns Hopkins Catalyst Awards, representing some of the most creative thinkers from across Johns Hopkins University. The awards, accompanied by a $75,000 grant and mentoring opportunities, aim to help launch early career faculty members on a path to a sustainable and rewarding academic career. The two were among 36 early-career faculty members to be honored as part of the 2020 cohort.
