Emmanouil Tampakakis, assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology, was named the recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Early Career Investigator Award from the American Heart Association. This award recognizes individuals based on the originality, quality and impact of the work presented in their abstract. He will present an oral abstract at the virtual Basic Cardiovascular Sciences 2020 Scientific Sessions in November.
