Award Amount: $495,000

Funding Term: 3 years

Due Date: November 13, 2020 (Pre-Proposals)

Program Overview

The Clinical Scientist Development Award (CSDA) program is designed to assist physician scientists in their transition to independent research funding through funding that will allow them to:

  1. conduct an outstanding clinical research project
  2. enable research time protection to ease the tension between research and clinical responsibilities
  3. facilitate development of strong mentorship relations

There are no funding priorities based on disease area or research type.
