Program Overview
The Clinical Scientist Development Award (CSDA) program is designed to assist physician scientists in their transition to independent research funding through funding that will allow them to:
- conduct an outstanding clinical research project
- enable research time protection to ease the tension between research and clinical responsibilities
- facilitate development of strong mentorship relations
There are no funding priorities based on disease area or research type.
