The American Society of Preventive Cardiology has created an early career investigator award in the name of Dr. Roger Blumenthal, professor in the Division of Cardiology. The Roger S. Blumenthal Travel Award will allow the top Early Career Research Award Winner to travel and attend the society's Congress on CVD Prevention to present their research. It is a tribute to Dr. Blumenthal's legacy and his contributions to the mentoring of young physicians and preventive cardiologists.
