Drs. Rexford Ahima, professor in the Division of Endocrinology, and Redonda Miller, professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, were among the newest cohort of members elected to the National Academy of Medicine. Election to the academy is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service. Drs. Ahima and Miller were among 100 new members, and make up half of the new members from Hopkins.
