Dr. Thomas Cudjoe, assistant professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine & Gerontology, received the 2020 Veterans Day Achievers Award from the JHM Office of Diversity & Inclusion. The award, created in honor of Veterans Day, recognizes military veterans and active duty military who work at Hopkins and have demonstrated contributions to their communities and the healthcare field. Dr. Cudjoe is a major in the U.S. Army Reserves and is engaged with various community organizations and initiatives in the Baltimore area including the East Baltimore Community School Board, the Baltimore City Commission on Aging and Retirement Education, the Reservoir Hill Association and the Mary Harvin Senior Transformation Center.
