Johns Hopkins Hospital Women’s Board Seeking Proposals

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Women’s Board engages in fundraising activities to provide financial support of equipment that will quickly and noticeably impact patient care and experience at JHH. Each year, the Women’s Board solicits one funding request from each JHH department and, depending upon available funding, selects several projects.

We are seeking ideas and request a brief proposal (an emailed paragraph to Sarah Disney, sdisney1@jhmi.edu) no later than Thursday, March 18. The DOM clinical leadership team will select one proposal for submission on behalf of the Department of Medicine.

Eligibility criteria includes:

  • Greatest impact on patient care
  • Plug-and-play equipment used for patient care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital
  • Number and types of patients who will benefit from the equipment
  • No construction/renovation required to use equipment

The DOM has been successful in securing Women’s Board funding in the past. Examples include advanced ultrasound unit, point of care ultrasound units, sleeper chairs for family members/caregivers and cycle ergometer to improve ICU patient mobility. We look forward to adding your project to this list!
