Dr. Richard Chaisson, professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the North American Region of the International Union Against TB and Lung Disease. This is the highest award of the region and is given to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the field of TB over a lifetime. He was honored at a virtual meeting in February.
