FASEB Excellence in Science Award

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) is soliciting nominations for their Excellence in Science Award for outstanding achievement by women in biological science.

Nominations are due by June 3, 2021.

The Excellence in Science program offers 3 awards to recognize achievements by women scientists at different career stages:

  • Lifetime Achievement ($10,000 unrestricted grant)
  • Mid-Career Investigator ($5,000 unrestricted grant)
  • Early-Career Investigator ($5,000 unrestricted grant)

Awardees will be expected to present a lecture at the annual meeting of a FASEB member society. In addition to the unrestricted grant, the award covers the recipients’ meeting expenses.

Nominators and nominees must be a member of at least one FASEB Full Member Society, but do not have to be members of the same society. For more information, see https://www.faseb.org/About-FASEB/Awards/Excellence-in-Science-Award.
