The Diversity Council of the Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Carmen Guerra, MD, MSCE, FACP is the 17th Annual Myron L. Weisfeldt Distinguished Visiting Professor. Dr. Carmen E. Guerra is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Vice Chair for Diversity and Inclusion for the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also the Founding Associate Director of Diversity and Outreach for the Abramson Cancer Center and Advisory Dean for Medical Students at the Dr. Helen O. Dickens House. Dr. Guerra will give DOM Grand Rounds on Friday, May 14 on the topic of "Academic Medical Center Approaches to Addressing Cancer Disparities."
