Medicine for the Greater Good, co-directed by Drs. Colleen Christmas, Panagis Galiatsatos, Thomas Cudjoe, Ariel Green and Erica Johnson, collaborated with other entities throughout JHU to create curriculum for The Johns Hopkins Health Education and Training Corp (HEAT Corps).
HEAT Corps will receive part of the $4M awarded to the Baltimore City Health Department over two years by the Office of Minority Health to implement standardized education content on the COVID-19 vaccine that is tailored to pediatric and adolescent population groups within Baltimore City Public Schools. They will recruit, train and oversee volunteers that will facilitate the COVID-19 courses to students in grades K-12.
