Dr. Deidra Crews, professor in the Division of Nephrology, was recently named deputy director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Equity. The center aims to make healthcare institutions more equitable, communities more engaged and health policies and practices more effective to eliminate disparities in health and healthcare in Baltimore, the United States, and the world. Dr. Crews has been a long time faculty member at the center and has held the title associate director for research development for some time.
