Dr. Rotimi Mesubi, assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology, has been accepted into the Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This four-year postdoctoral research award aims to support physicians, dentists and nurses from historically marginalized backgrounds in honor of Harold Amos, PhD, who was the first African-American to chair a department, now the Department of Microbiology and Immunobiology, of the Harvard Medical School.
