Agbor-Enoh Receives James T. Willerson Award in Clinical Science

Dr. Sean Agbor-Enoh, instructor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, received the 2021 James T. Willerson Award in Clinical Science. The award recognizes the best clinical paper published in Circulation in the preceding twelve months.

This award also honors Dr. Willerson, who was a major leader within the American Heart Association. Among his roles, he served for over a decade as Editor-in-Chief of Circulation. During his tenure, the journal transitioned away from a once-monthly format, vastly expanded its international footprint, and rose substantially in stature and impact.

Dr. Agbor-Enoh will be honored at the 2021 Scientific Sessions in Boston and a Virtual Event for his paper “Cell-Free DNA Heart Allograft Acute Rejection."
