National Research Administrator Day Recognition

Saturday, September 25 is National Research Administrator Day, a day of recognition started by NCURA in 2015 to recognize the contributions research administrators make in supporting the mission of universities and research institutions. This past year, teams of research administrators across the SOM have met the challenges of transitioning to remote work, while continuing non-stop to help produce a record year in funded awards.

For FY21:

  • 4,358 proposals were submitted seeking $3,934,077,222 in funding
  • 1,514 proposals were awarded totaling $1,057,874,194 in funding

Please take a moment to recognize their extraordinary efforts and the part they play in supporting faculty and the SOM research mission by sending them a personal message using this link.

Your message will post on the School of Medicine CORA web portal, a site set-up for the SOM research administration community.
