JHU HFpEF Program Receives Funding from Amgen

Dr. Kavita Sharma, assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology, has received a philanthropic gift from Amgen to the Johns Hopkins’ Center for Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF) in the amount of $250,000. She and Dr. David Kass, professor in the Division of Cardiology, have received an additional sponsored research grant from Amgen to the JHU HFpEF Program in the amount of $1,130,000 over the next three years. The combined gift and sponsored research funds will support program operations, clinical, translational and basic science research in HFpEF at JHU.
