Jaar Receives National Kidney Foundation Award

Dr. Bernard Jaar, assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology, is the recipient of this year’s National Kidney Foundation’s Garabed Eknoyan Award. This award, established in 2002, was created to recognize an individual who has promoted the mission of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) in making lives better for people with kidney disease through exceptional contributions to key initiatives of the NKF such as the Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative or clinical research in the field of kidney disease. This honor will be acknowledged during NKF’s Spring Clinical Meetings (SCM22), which will be held in Boston in April.
