Dr. Prasanna Santhanam, associate professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, was selected to serve on the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Item-Writing Task Force of the American Board of Internal Medicine. His term began on January 1, 2022 and will go until June 30, 2022.
ABIM established the Item-Writing Task Forces to help meet the increased demand for content associated with providing physicians new, more flexible assessment options. These Task Forces develop exam content by utilizing a combination of traditional and innovative, model-based approaches to item development.
