National Doctors’ Day falls on March 30 annually to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. Last year alone, our doctors made over 500,000 inpatient and outpatient encounters all while managing the stress and upheaval of a second year of the COVID-19 pandemic. They took on more shifts, more patients, more leadership roles, and inspired us with their outstanding patient care and zest along the way. There are no words or gifts that could begin to express our gratitude for the mountains they have moved. Thank you for caring for our patients, our department and each other.
