Dr. Monica Mukherjee, associate professor in the Division of Cardiology, received the Established Investigator Award from the National Scleroderma Foundation. This award supports pilot studies to obtain preliminary data dealing with a highly innovative and/or highly relevant theme related to the scleroderma. Dr. Mukherjee's grant will provide $200K over the next two years to improve risk prediction of mildly elevated pulmonary pressures in systemic sclerosis patients.
