Dr. Lisa Maragakis, professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, was recently deemed one of Maryland's Top 100 Women for 2022 by The Daily Record. The popular news source began honoring outstanding women leaders who have not only made contributions through their professional careers, but through community service and mentoring in 1996. These high-achieving Maryland women are making an impact through their leadership, community service and mentoring, and are selected by past Top 100 Women and business leaders. Dr. Maragakis will be recognized at the awards program in May.
