Research Administrator Day is September 25

Started in 2015 by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), National Research Administrator Day is celebrated annually on September 25 to recognize the many contributions administrators make every day in supporting the mission of universities and research institutions.

This past year, teams of research administrators across the School of Medicine have met the challenges of adapting to remote work, while navigating new policies and continuing non-stop to help produce another record year in funded awards.

For FY22 (includes All Children’s):

  • 4,234 proposals were submitted seeking $4,390,924,160 in funding
  • 1,545 proposals were awarded totaling $1,085,865,744 in funding

Please take a moment to recognize their extraordinary efforts, and the part they play in supporting faculty and the SOM research mission by sending them a personal message using this link.  Your message will post on the School of Medicine CORA web portal, a site set-up for the SOM research administration community.

Thank you for taking the time to show appreciation to those who support your research endeavors throughout the year.
