Sisson Elected President of the American College of Physicians

Dr. Stephen Sisson, professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine and vice president for clinical operations in the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians, was elected to serve as president of the American College of Physicians (ACP). Before he takes office as president, he will serve as president-elect from April 2023 to April 2024. He will then become ACP President from April 2024 to April 2025.

Dr. Sisson has served many roles in the ACP over the years including president of ACP Services and governor of the American College of Physicians Maryland Chapter as well as serving on the Board of Regents and the Board of Governors. He was also a recipient of an ACP Mastership.
