Last month, thirty-seven early career faculty members were selected to receive Johns Hopkins Catalyst Awards, part of a $45 million initiative to support the creativity and collaborative spirit of the Johns Hopkins faculty. These grant awards of up to $75,000 support the promising research and creative endeavors of early career faculty with the goal of launching them on a path to a sustainable and rewarding academic career. This year’s Catalyst Awardees represent twenty-nine departments, and three of them are part of the DOM.
