Dr. Halima Amjad, assistant professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine & Gerontology, received the Distinguished Professor of Geriatrics Best Oral Abstract Presentation Award from the Society of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Amjad was recognized at the 2023 SGIM Annual Meeting for the abstract,“Overwhelmed: Dementia Care in Primary Care.”
