Today marks the end of Medical Assistants Recognition Week, created by the American Association of Medical Assistants to honor and celebrate contributions made by medical assistants in the healthcare industry and raise awareness about their vital role in patient care and healthcare delivery.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) across the Department of Medicine who keep our patient care moving forward. Our nurses, faculty and staff could not do what they do without the information provided by our CMAs. We thank them for their dedication and efficiency that continues to contribute to our quest for clinical excellence.
