On September 29, medical residency alumni from seven decades reunited at Johns Hopkins Bayview for the first annual Connecting The Stars: Bayview Medical Residency Alumni Day. Residents, alumni and Bayview faculty participated in a full schedule of events including Morning Report precepted by Dr. Roy Ziegelstein, former Bayview Residency Program Director; rounds with current and former housestaff, Noon Conference featuring an alumni panel and afternoon Chief Rounds with Dr. John Burton, Bayview ’67. The day concluded with a networking dinner for alumni and residents. Alumni who had not been back to Bayview for decades marveled that the values of the program have remained consistent and the culture of community was alive and well. We hope this is the start of a long tradition of reconnection between past and present Bayview Residents.
