NIH Loan Repayment Program Application Deadline is 11/16/2023
The internal deadline to submit an NIH Loan Repayment Program (LRP) application is Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
The NIH LRPs are unique programs with tremendous benefits to early-stage researchers. A 3-minute LRP overview video is available for those who want to learn more about our program. The NIH LRP website can be found at www.lrp.nih.gov.
JHU SOM Point of Contact for LRP Applications – Karen Falter (ERA Commons ID KFalter1)
Karen Falter is the Institutional Business Official (IBO). An IBO represents the LRP applicant's employing institution in an official capacity and will be asked to certify that an applicant:
- is a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or permanent resident of the U.S.
- is not a federal or for-profit employee
- is employed to conduct research for an average of at least 20 hours a week per quarter (13 weeks) by a domestic, non-profit organization
- has protected research time for the length of the award and the research is not prohibited by Federal law
