Sharing successes, challenges and daily happenings in the Department of Medicine

Medicine Matters Home Administration National Black History Month

National Black History Month

In the DOM, we celebrate the diversity that strengthens us as it helps us push the boundaries of discovery, transform health care, advance medical education and create hope for humanity. During Black History Month, we recognize and honor the tremendous contributions of African Americans throughout U.S. history.

To learn more about the contributions of Black and African American people to our Johns Hopkins community, visit the Indispensable Role of Blacks online exhibit, created by the Johns Hopkins University Faculty and Staff Association.

For information on Black History Month events throughout the organization, please visit the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity events page.
