Dr. Ashwini Niranjan-Azadi, assistant professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at JHH, was recognized with the 2023 Society of Hospital Medicine Maryland Chapter Physician of the Year Award. Dr. Niranjan-Azadi is the faculty development and wellness director of the Division of Hospital Medicine at JHH as well as the associate director of the internal medicine clerkship. She was presented the award at the Maryland Chapter Scientific Abstract Competition and Annual Awards Ceremony in Baltimore in November.
