We are pleased to announce that Shondrea Williams began as assistant administrator for the Divisions of Hospital Medicine at JHH and JHBMC on March 11, 2024.
Shondrea is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Maryland with an anticipated completion date of June 2024. She has 15 years of experience managing physician services, faculty affairs and clinical operations for hospitalist (Einstein Medical Center at Jefferson University) and emergency medicine (University of Maryland) programs. She has an extensive background in hospital throughput, managing emergency department (ED) diversions, system implementations, data analytics and optimizing clinical workflows to enhance the patient journey. Recently, she has focused on developing tech-enabled care delivery models and resource directories to address Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) that impact core hospital/ED metrics.
Shondrea joins the Department of Medicine from MD Ally, a virtual health tech company where hospitalist and emergency medicine physicians are in alliance with emergency medical services (EMS) and public safety to reduce over utilization of EMS and emergency room services for non-emergencies by treating low acuity 911 patients virtually. She served as manager of clinical operations and clinical excellence where she developed the provider enterprise and managed physician practice operations for clinical efficiency and value.
We are thrilled to have Shondrea as part of the DOM administrative leadership team and ask you to join us in welcoming her.
