March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the immeasurable contributions of women and the vital role they've played in American history.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the women who work in and with the Department of Medicine. Their contributions to our department and Johns Hopkins Medicine are far too great to list here, but that does not make us any less grateful that they have chosen to spend their talents with us.
We’d also like to thank everyone who contributed to the Kudoboard for the DOM Task Force on Women’s Careers in Academic Medicine celebrating our women in medicine. We had more than 250 responses and posts about the inspiring women who make up this department. We’d like to say a special thank you to the Division of Hospital Medicine at JHBMC (CIMS) and the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology for submitting the most responses.
