Early Career Cohort Leadership Program

The Early Career Cohort Leadership Program (ECCLP) by the Office of Faculty – Women in Science and Medicine is designed to support the professional advancement of women and all allies of gender equity who are less than 5 years at the rank of assistant professor in the School of Medicine. Previously called the Early Career Women’s Leadership Program, we have revised the program to welcome participants of all genders to increase inclusivity. Eleven sessions will be offered with virtual and in-person experiences between January and June 2025.

The goals are:

  1. Clarify personal missions for career advancement.
  2. Equip participants with skills for professional advancement and leadership.
  3. Prepare participants to create and seek leadership opportunities.
  4. Build a supportive community of peers and increase retention at Johns Hopkins.
  5. Promote and model gender equity.

Class size will be limited to 50 participants who represent a balance of departments, divisions and different aspects of diversity. Applicants may be nominated or self-nominate. See the brochure for additional details.

Applicants should submit the application form linked here to [email protected] by June 15, 2024(The optional nomination email or letter should also be emailed to [email protected].)
