Dispenza Receives Hartwell Individual Biomedical Research Award

Dr. Melanie Dispenza, assistant professor in the Division of Allergy & Clinical Immunology, was named a recipient of the 2023 Hartwell Individual Biomedical Research Award. Each award provides support for three years at $100,000 direct cost per year. Dr. Dispenza is one of ten individuals representing eight institutions to receive the award for her project, "Circulating Microvesicles as Biomarkers for Diagnosing Acute Food-Induced Anaphylaxis."
