As the JHU Benefits Office previously shared, the Tuition Grant plan for dependents is now administered through EdAssist. The application portal is live and accepting submissions. This is a significant shift for current program participants as an application is now required each semester. However, the process is very fast and easy to use, and this change will allow payments to be made much faster than what they can administer today. Additionally during this transition, HR will no longer be required to approve new employee tuition applications. Applications will still be routed to the employee’s direct supervisor for review. The Benefits Office can provide a report of employees in a specific division utilizing the program at any time, should that be useful.
