The 2024 Women in Medicine Dinner took place on May 28 at the Baltimore Mariott Waterfront. Sponsored by the DOM Task Force on Women's Academic Careers in Medicine, this event celebrates the accomplishments of our DOM women faculty and provides an opportunity to build relationships with other women and faculty in the DOM.
We'd like to extend our gratitude to our speaker LaPrincess C. Brewer, MD, MPH, FACC, FAHA, who delivered a riveting talk not only at the dinner, but at grand rounds and several other meetings throughout her stay.

Susan M. MacDonald Sponsorship Award
Finally, we'd like to highlight this year's DOM Susan M. MacDonald Sponsorship Award winners. This award recognizes DOM faculty who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting and advancing women faculty and fellows by acting as a sponsor. A sponsor is a person in a leadership position who actively supports the career advancement of a more junior faculty member or trainee in whom they see career and leadership potential.
