Now in its fourth year, National Advanced Practice Provider Week recognizes the critical role that APPs play in healthcare, highlighting their unwavering commitment to enhancing patient care and their impact on the health of communities nationwide.
With this year's theme, "Innovate, Elevate, Celebrate: The Power of APPs" we acknowledge the vital importance of APPs in advancing medical care. Their contributions are vital in reshaping healthcare delivery, improving access to care and driving innovation in clinical practice.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the DOM physician assistants, nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists. We have over 150 APPs who span many divisions at both JHH and JHBMC, cover inpatient and outpatient services and provide the highest-quality care to our patients. They make significant contributions to clinical care, education, research, quality and safety improvement and patient satisfaction on a daily basis.
