Dr. Nirupama Putcha, associate professor in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, recently received funding to study "Clinical trial of omalizumab for allergen sensitized and exposed individuals with COPD." Dr. Nadia Hansel, director of the DOM and professor in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, is a PI on this seven-year U01 grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
