Dr. Monica Mukherjee, was named a recipient of a FY23 Investigator-Initiated Research Award from the U.S. Department of Defense. Her project, entitled "Echocardiographic Phenotyping and Risk Stratification of Systemic Sclerosis-Associated Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction" began on September 1, 2024. Collaborators include Drs. Stephen Mathai, asociate professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Fredrick Wigley, professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Ami Shah, professor in the Division of Rheumatology, and Bharath Amsale-Venkatesh, assistant professor of Radiology and Radiological Science.
