We’d like to thank Dr. Lee Daugherty Biddison for leading our DOM credentialing efforts as Director of Credentialing. She faced many changes to the credentialing process throughout her nearly seven-year tenure, and we are extremely grateful for her perseverance and governance of this indispensable process. As director, she led the DOM Credentialing Committee in reviewing the qualifications of our incoming faculty and advanced practice providers as well as facilitating the biannual reappointments of all of our current providers. She also represented the DOM on the JHH Credentials Committee for more than 10 years. This is no small nor glamorous task, and we thank her for her many years of service. She has stepped down from her role as director to focus on her role as JHM Chief Wellness Officer in the Office of Well-Being.
Dr. Lonny Yarmus, DOM vice chair of business development and professor in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, has stepped in to lead our credentialing efforts. We are thankful for his commitment to the DOM and are confident his proven leadership skills as vice chair and director of the Interventional Pulmonology section will serve him well in his new role.
