Bigos Named President-Elect of ASCPT

Dr. Kristin Bigos, assistant professor in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology, was named president-elect of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) Board of Directors. Dr. Bigos is excited to bring her breadth of knowledge to support the broad membership of ASCPT. She has previously served the society as a founding member and inaugural Chair of the Mental Health and Addiction (MHA) Community. She has also served as the Chair of the Specific Populations Community. Outside of the Networks and Communities, Dr. Bigos has participated on the Scientific Program Committee, the Scientific Awards Nomination Task Force and the Strategic Planning Task Force. She is excited about the opportunity to take on this new leadership role within the society. Dr. Bigos will become president-elect following the ASCPT Annual Meeting in D.C. in May.
