Ash Arwood has been named division administrator for the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, effective September 15.
Ash earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University earlier this year. Before that, he earned a master’s degree in sports psychology from California University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in community and health services from Empire State College. In 2019, Ash retired from the Army as a Senior Non-Commissioned. He joined Hopkins in 2022 as a practice manager at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he managed clinical operations for five outpatient clinics, encompassing over 32,000 annual visits, while maintaining fiscal responsibility for more than 40 staff.
Please join us in welcoming Ash as our newest division administrator. We are incredibly grateful to him for stepping in as interim division administrator following Christian Hartman’s promotion to Chief Administrative Officer. Ash has already proven to be a capable leader, and we are excited to see what he will accomplish in his new permanent role.
