SHARE (Supporting Hospitals Abroad with Resources and Equipment) is a student-run organization that partners with the SOM and School of Nursing to provide international medical relief and reduce medical waste by collecting unused, clean, and unexpired medical supplies (that would otherwise be discarded) from the operating rooms at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and distributing them to operating rooms and clinics in low and middle income countries.
SHARE currently has an abundance of medical supplies and is looking for faculty who do international work and may need access to these resources.
To learn more, visit the SHARE website or contact Shruti Vadlakonda, the supplies delivery officer.
