Dr. Nadia Hansel, professor in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care and director of the Department of Medicine, was elected into the Association of American Physicians (AAP) based on her accomplishments in translational biomedical research. The AAP is an honorary medical society founded in 1885 by Sir William Osler and six other distinguished physicians of his era. She was honored at the 2026 AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting in Chicago in April.
