Dr. Janie Abernethy (pictured center), assistant professor in the Division of Bayview Internal Medicine, is the recipient of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Excellence in Education Faculty Education Scholar Grant. This highly competitive education grant provides $50,000 to support Dr. Abernethy’s project, A Staged, Rubric-Based Curriculum for the Safe and Educational Integration of AI Scribes in Internal Medicine Residency Training.
