Barbara Wilgus, MSN, CRNP, in the Division of Infectious Diseases, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association (ASTDA).
Barbara joined the ID Division in 1997 and has served as program administrator for the Johns Hopkins STD/HIV Prevention Training Center since 2016. She is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in reproductive health, STIs, and HIV.
The ASTDA Board provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Association’s mission and activities and is responsible for guiding the organization's scientific, educational, and policy priorities.
