Mark Donowitz, professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, was selected to receive the 2019 Institute Council Cellular and Molecular (CMG) Section Research Mentor Award from the American Gastroenterological Association in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the mentoring and training of new investigators in the field and his scientific contributions to basic GI science. He will be presented the award at the AGA Digestive Disease Week in San Diego in May.
